Macau International Airport (MIA) is the only airport serving the special administrative region of Macau. It is located in the eastern part of the Pearl River Delta, about 29 kilometres (18 miles) west of Macau peninsula and 62 kilometres (39 miles) south-west of Hong Kong. MIA consists of two terminal buildings: the Main Terminal Building and the Satellite Concourse, connected by an automated people mover.
The Main Terminal Building houses check-in counters, immigration and customs facilities, baggage claim areas, and a few shops and restaurants. The Satellite Concourse, connected to the main terminal by an automated people mover, has additional check-in counters and gates.
Macau International Airport (IATA: MFM, ICAO: VMMC) is the only airport serving the Macau Special Administrative Region of China. It is located on the island of Cotai, about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Macau City Center in São Lourenço. It is equipped with two runways and one passenger terminal, and handled 6 million passengers in 2015.
There are two VIP lounges in the terminal: The Macau VIP Lounge for First and Business Class passengers of Cathay Pacific and Dragonair, and The Cotai Water Jet VIP Lounge for premium customers of Cotai Water Jet.
